GRAMMAR REVIEW GAME

 

This assignment is designed as a review of the 7th grade grammar curriculum in preparation for the PSSA's, but can be adapted for 11th-12th grades.

 

Students use their knowledge of grammar concepts covered in class to win points. For the last round of the game, teams wager points and complete an extended "Final Jeopardy" question. The team with the most points at the end wins.

I find this type of game to be a useful and engaging way to review grammar, vocabulary, and other concepts with definite "correct" and "incorrect" answers; I have created several similar games to review various concepts, and would be happy to share them upon request.
